Meet Paige Langley, Elleebana’s Newest Master Educator! We recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Paige Langley to learn more about her incredible journey into the beauty industry and what has led her to this exciting new role with Elleebana. Here’s what she shared with us:
One afternoon, while walking through Burleigh, I found myself reflecting on my future and wondering what career path might suit me. That’s when I came across the Gold Coast Training Academy. In that moment, everything clicked. I took the leap, and 27 years later, the Gold Coast still feels like home.
Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found this dynamic and ever-evolving industry. Beauty has opened so many doors for me, and I’ve come to realize that sometimes life leads you down paths you never expected, but they end up being exactly where you were meant to go. The beauty industry is full of endless possibilities, constant learning, and opportunities for reinvention. It’s a world where creativity never stops.
Starting at 21 as a graduate in a salon, I quickly discovered my passion, particularly in hands, feet, and brows. By 1999, I fulfilled my dream of becoming my own boss and opened my own salon, where Elleebana Lash Lift became an essential part of our offerings. Business was booming, but by 2008, I felt ready for a new challenge. I transitioned into the wholesale beauty industry, focusing on sales and training while still holding on to my loyal clients during my free time—I simply couldn’t let them go!
Education has always been at the heart of my career. As eyelash extensions gained popularity, I dove into training and partnered with a local brand to provide courses across Australia. During this time, I also earned my TAE qualification for the VET sector. I spent nearly nine years at a private beauty training facility, teaching a wide range of subjects—from Nail Technology and Lash Lifting to Brow Lamination. Working alongside talented beauty professionals was a fulfilling experience, deepening my expertise in both practical and theoretical aspects of the industry.

To me, Elleebana represents excellence, innovation, and a deep commitment to integrity and respect within the beauty industry. It’s a global powerhouse with an undeniable energy that fuels creativity and drives professionals forward. I’m thrilled to now be a part of that energy—a force that keeps the beauty world buzzing with anticipation for what’s to come. I truly believe this is where I am meant to be.”
The competition was fierce, but in the end, Kira from Kira B Lashes UK was announced the winner. Her chosen charity? The Alzheimer’s Society—a cause close to her heart.
“Both of my nans struggled with Alzheimer’s before they passed away, and we lost one earlier this year. It’s devastating to see someone who’s spent their life building memories and relationships reach a point where they no longer recognize the faces of loved ones. It’s even harder to know they’re experiencing frustration, confusion, and loneliness in those moments.”
What the 007 Challenge Meant to Kira
Reflecting on the event, Kira had nothing but praise for the unique experience: “I had the best time with like-minded people from the beauty industry. I was part of a very diverse team, and we had a blast tackling the Bond-themed challenges. Don’t we all have a bit of a spy inside us? It was such a fun and dynamic way to bond with colleagues, make new friends, and create memories. Being part of the winning team was just the cherry on top of the cake!”
Her takeaway from the challenge speaks to the spirit of resilience and teamwork: “We don’t stop when we’re tired; we stop when we’re done! Thanks to my amazing team!”
